At present, the Seton Club consists of a core group of approximately 15-20 individuals and couples. The Seton Club is always looking for new members and is open to all St. Elizabeth Seton Parishioners. The Club meets on the first Monday of each month from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m., followed by a brief social period with snacks and/or dessert. Monsignor John Quinn moderates these meetings. The Seton Club membership is a very congenial group and meetings are often fun and lively with the exchange of many ideas. Most social events are planned a year in advance. At present, the Club’s event calendar includes: A New Year's Eve dinner dance; a February wine/cheese and chocolate social; a corned beef and cabbage dinner for St. Patrick’s Day; bus trip to Boston’s Opera House to see the play “Wicked.” During the summer months, the Club assists at Parish picnics to open and close the season. Future events that are in the planning stages include a pig roast, Oktoberfest, and a Christmas event to finish out the year. The Seton Club events are intended to bring together the children, young adults, adults, families and many of our seniors to different social events to share in each others company.
The Seton Club is the parishioner-run social organization of St. Elizabeth Seton Parish. The club plans and runs many of the social events, with the objective of bringing together as many of the members of our large parish community in a spirit of fellowship as possible.
The Club encourages all interested Parishioners to contact the Parish Office at 669-7444.
